Most companies treat ethics as a press-release topic. We treat it as the foundation. The four standards below are written before we needed them, auditable in practice, and applied to customers, counterparties, and our own team without exception. These aren’t aspirations. They’re how we operate.
I. We tell the truth.
We tell customers what we’d want to know if we were in their seat. When we make a mistake (and we will), we tell you, plainly. Dressing mistakes up is the easy move. We pass. Trust compounds the same way money does.
II. Your data is yours.
Customer data sits on a bank-grade ledger. Each customer’s information stays separate from every other’s. We log who looked at what, and the log can’t be edited or erased. If something needs disclosing, we disclose it — usually before anyone asks.
III. Our Agents.
They tell people they’re AI. They don’t pretend to be human. When unsure, they ask. They do what we built them to do, and nothing else, no matter who asks. Every decision leaves a trail a person can audit. If the customer can’t audit it, we don’t ship it.
IV. Who we work with.
We diligence who someone really is before we transact. We turn down deals that cross our line, even profitable ones. Our charter members are listed publicly in our Austin office. They play by the same rules we do, for the long run.
